Don’t forget – there are a number of other options available to you when it comes to making a modern award more flexible for your business.

Instead of making an enterprise agreement, you can:

  • use annualised salary provisions;
  • insert set-off provisions into your employment contracts;
  • make award flexibility agreements; or
  • give guarantees of earnings.
