Are we able to contact employees while they are on leave? When should we avoid making contact?


To some extent, it will depend on why you want to contact them. If it is to query when they will be returning to work from personal leave, or if there’s anything you can do to facilitate them in returning to work, then you’d probably be okay to contact them.

However, we’d recommend against contacting employees on annual leave or personal leave unless absolutely necessary.
