Australian Cabling Solutions Pty Ltd T/A Australian Cabling Solutions, an electrical and cabling services company, employed Mr Bardelli to perform electrical work in northern New South Wales.

When the contract with the client ended, Australian Cabling Solutions offered Mr Bardelli redeployment to another client’s workplace in Queensland. The new client was located 101 kilometres from where Mr Bardelli lived. His previous employment base had been only 13 kilometres away. Mr Bardelli rejected the offer of redeployment.
