What is community service leave?

Definition: Community Service Leave

Community service leave is an entitlement to be absent from employment when engaging in an eligible community service activity.

Eligible community service activities include:

  • a voluntary emergency management activity (read more); and
  • jury service, including attendance for jury selection (read more).
